Girl with pearls

Today I decided to go for a little bit more elegant look. Pairing the whole outfit with jeans toned it down a little bit and made it appropriate for my usual day. We know who said the famous frase "Diamonds are girl´s best friends" but I say that pearls can do too :) And they are way more affordable! Enjoy the pictures :)

Dnes som sa rozhodla pre elegantnejší look, avšak skombinujúc celý outfit s džínami trochu stlmilo efekt a tým pádom bol vhodný pre bežný deň. Všetci vieme, kto povedal slávnu vetu "Diamanty sú najlepšími priateľmi dievčaťa", ale ja si myslím, že aj perly postačia :) A sú omnoho dostupnejšie! Užite si fotky :)

Chasing the rainbow

When I saw this, I just had to take some pictures. The light was just beyond beautiful and that contrast between the rainbow and those storm clouds... it left me speechless. Didn´t expect my balcony to offer me such a view :)

Keď som uvidela toto, musela som nafotiť pár obrázkov. Svetlo bolo prekrásne a ten kontrast medzi dúhou a tými búrkovými mračnami... ma nechal bez slov. Neočakávala som, že by mi môj balkón ponúkol taký výhľad :)

It´s birthday time!

A few weeks ago my friend Kristina celebrated her 19th birthday and we took a few more pictures than normal people do (you know, two bloggers in one room... :D). I had such a good time, laughing and talking to my friends. It´s complicated now as we all study in different cities and I enjoy every minute with them. Good news - my other friend is already preparing a B-day party in just a few weeks :)

Pred pár týždňami moja kamoška Kristína oslavovala 19. narodeniny a nafotili sme o trochu viac fotiek, než normálni ľudia (veď viete, dve blogerky v jednej miestnosti... :D). Výborne som sa bavila, keď som sa smiala a rozprávala s kamarátmi. Teraz je to komplikované, každý z nás študuje v inom meste a ja si užívam každú minútu s nimi. Dobré správy - moja druhá kamoška už pripravuje narodeninovú party v nasledujúcich týždňoch :)

Book Storage

All bookaholics know it. One of their biggest problems. Book storage. And the problem gets bigger if you live in a small flat or you have a very small room. Or both (my case:)). Our flat has only 36 square metres and its obvious that my room can´t be very big. And because I love books I do have problem with their storage. Last week I got some books I need to school and I realized I have no place for them. Both bookshelves, the floor and the table are all full of books. I´m sure that I´m not the only one with this problem so I decided to search for some interesting ways how to store books in small spaces or just original ideas of storing. As a student I don´t have much money and buying a bookshelf is not so easy for me. Even if I could buy a new bookshelf there would come another problem – where to put it. In this post I´m gonna show you some ideas that I have found.

Všetci závisláci na knihách to poznajú. Jeden z ich najväčších problémov. Uskladnenie kníh. A tento problém ešte narastá ak bývate v malom byte alebo máte malú izbu. Alebo oboje (môj prípad :)). Náš byt má 36 metrov štvorcových a teda je jasné, že moja izba nemôže byť veľmi veľká. A pretože milujem knihy, naozaj mám problém s ich uložením. Minulý týždeň som dostala nejaké knihy, ktoré potrebujem do školy, a zistila som, že na ne nemám miesto. Obe police, podlaha aj stôl sú plné kníh. Som si istá, že nie som jediná osoba, ktorá má tento problém, takže som sa rozhodla pohľadať nejaké zaujímavé spôsoby, ako uskladniť knihy v malých priestoroch, alebo jednoducho originálne nápady na úložný priestor. Ako študentka nemám veľa peňazí a teda kúpa knižnice nie je až taká jednoduchá. Aj keby som si mohla kúpiť novú knižnicu, nastal by ďalší problém – kam ju dať. V tomto článku vám ukážem nejaké nápady, ktoré som našla.

Článok o Viedni, meste, ktoré tak milujem, som už napísala. Ak ste nemali šnacu prečítať si ho, môžete tak urobiť TU. Už pripravujem aj druhú časť :). Pointou je, že som sa dostala aj k nakupovaniu (vlastne som si toho pokúpila dosť veľa... som z toho nadšená, normálne by som si nemohla dovoliť toľko toho nakúpiť) a neviem sa dočkať toho, ako vám to všetko ukážem. Ktorý kúsok je podľa vás naj? Som si istá, že na ne niekedy natrafíte v rubrike OOTD.

Finally, finally I found my perfect winter jacket. It´s warm, it´s comfy, it goes with everything and it´s as elegant as a winter jacket can be - you will get what I am saying once you will see it on me, it has an ideal shape (hence, I don´t look like snowman while wearing it). Bought in Zara.

Konečne, konečne som si našla perfektnú zimnú bundu. Je teplá, je pohodlná, ku všetkému sa hodí a je tak elegantná ako len zimná bunda môže byť - pochopíte čo mám na mysli vo chvíli, keď ju na mne uvidíte, má ideálny tvar (čiže v nej nevyzerám ako snehuliak). Kúpená v Zare.

Dancing and fashion together? So much fun!

I think title says it all :). Dancing is always fun and without a doubt it´s the best way how to relieve stress or anger and burn calories. Endorphins don´t hurt either :). You don´t have to be a dance champion - just dance for yourself at home, jumping to your favorite music.
I am subscribed to Tess on youtube and by far this is my favorite video of hers, it´s different and interesting and colourful... Myslím, že nadpis hovorí za všetko :). Tancovanie je vždy zábavou a bezpochyby je to najlepšia cesta ako odbúrať stres či hnev a spáliť kalórie. Endorfíny tiež neublížia :). Nemusíte byť tanečným šampiónom - len si zatancujte sami pre seba doma, skáčuc na vašu obľúbená hudbu.
Tess sledujem na youtube a toto je zďaleka jej najlepšie video, je iné, je zaujímavé a farebné... Ak sa zaujímate o módu, tak si ho určite pozrite, pretože Tess skombinovala veľa outfitov. Muselo byť časovo náročné vytvoriť takéto video, takže za mňa palec hore!

Today I will show you two items that I got in Paris - lace T-shirt (love lace, it´s so feminine) and asymetric skirt that I wasn´t sure about at first because I loved that style on other bloggers but I thought it´s not for me. My friend successfully persuaded me and I went for it. I decided to add some colour to this all-black outfit with turquoise earrings, it´s a nice contrast. What do you think, do you like these photos?
